Summary:The aerial parts of the wild plant Nepeta nuda L. collected in Serbia and the Durmitor region contained respectively 0.67-0.70% and 0.4% oil. Each oil was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The main constituent was 1,8-cineole; (42.8-63.8%), with the higher level found in the oil of plants harvested in full flower. Other major constituents included germacrene D (1.8-15.0%), beta-caryophyllene (3.6-6.9%) and alpha-terpineol (6.9-7.0%)
