Thermal, FTIR and Raman spectral analysis of Cu(II)-doped lead iodate crystals

The 0.04 M copper-doped lead iodate crystals grown in silica gel were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and thermo analytical techniques (TG, DTA, DTG and DSC). Raman and FTIR spectrum clearly indicate that the functional groups of undoped lead iodat...

Description
Summary:The 0.04 M copper-doped lead iodate crystals grown in silica gel were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and thermo analytical techniques (TG, DTA, DTG and DSC). Raman and FTIR spectrum clearly indicate that the functional groups of undoped lead iodate were not altered by the addition of the dopant. Thermal analysis suggests that the thermal stability of lead iodate crystals decreases due to copper doping.
