Description
Summary:In this paper, we present a study of magnetic properties of NiFe thin film deposited onto polymer substrate (Kapton®). A complete study of the magnetic anisotropy is made thanks to ferromagnetic resonance. In-plane and out-of-plane anisotropies in the film are obtained due to the elaboration process. Furthermore, the magnetization is manipulated by applying uniaxial stress in the film. The stress-induced apparition of stripes domains from a saturated configuration is evidenced by in situ Brillouin light scattering and magnetic force microscopy studies. The saturating field is derived from the Muller criterion. The magnetostriction coefficient is evaluated from the applied stress allowing the stripes domains regeneration.
