Summary:Specific features in designing magnetic systems for compact isochronous cyclotrons using the methods of mathematical simulation are described. A method based on the mathematical synthesis of cyclotron electromagnets is suggested that has made it possible to design, fabricate, adjust, and put in production a number of accelerators with common design patterns. Developed systems of movable shims allow magnetic field reconfiguration to provide acceleration of different sorts of ions.
