Summary:The main problems of the current state-of-the-art research into the caloric effects observed in oxygen ferroics, multiferroics, and composites, as well as the influence of different factors (anisotropy, dimensional parameters, direct and indirect interferroic interactions) on these effects, have been considered. Possible ways to increase the caloric efficiency of materials have been analyzed.
