Influence of the temperature on current-voltage characteristics of composite materials fabricated based on a polypropylene matrix and carbon fillers
A composite material based on a polypropylene matrix and carbon fillers has been fabricated in the form of films and blocks. It has been shown that the dependence of the resistivity of the composite on the filler weight fraction has a threshold character. The current-voltage characteristics of compo...

Summary: | A composite material based on a polypropylene matrix and carbon fillers has been fabricated in the form of films and blocks. It has been shown that the dependence of the resistivity of the composite on the filler weight fraction has a threshold character. The current-voltage characteristics of composite films have been measured at different temperatures in the range of 80–360 K. The temperature dependence of the resistivity of the composites at different filler weight fractions has been found. A theoretical description of current-voltage characteristics at different temperatures has been presented. |
