Summary:For over thirty years, Loic Le Groumellec, painter born in Brittany, shows a repertoire of compelling images unchanged of obsessive iconography so minimal as to provide an insight into the myths of the ancient culture of its place of origin. This article shows how the artist creates an imaginary through a procedure that affects the objectual nature of his work, which places him in a constant declaration of his identity, a remote world, however present and enigmatic yet. Keywords: painting / primitivism / monochrome / minimal /pantheism. Desde hace mas de treinta anos, el pintor breton Loic Le Groumellec muestra sin variacion un repertorio de imagenes contundentes de iconografia tan minima como obsesiva, para ofrecer una vision de los mitos de la cultura ancestral de su lugar de origen. En este articulo se muestra como el artista crea un imaginario mediante un proceder que incide en el caracter objetual de su obra, que le situa en una constante declaracion de su identidad, la de un mundo remoto, sin embargo presente y enigmatico.
