Comparison of maximum heart rate predicted and measured in indoor soccer adolescent athletes/COMPARACAO ENTRE FREQUENCIA CARDIACA MAXIMA PREDITA E MENSURADA EM ATLETAS ADOLESCENTES DE FUTSAL
The use of equations to estimate maximal heart rate based on age is widely accepted because is easily obtained and it is hard to measure directly by effort test. The aim of this study was to compare the maximal heart rate obtained in an effort test in 35 futsal players (male 17.5 [+ or -] 1.03 years...

Summary: | The use of equations to estimate maximal heart rate based on age is widely accepted because is easily obtained and it is hard to measure directly by effort test. The aim of this study was to compare the maximal heart rate obtained in an effort test in 35 futsal players (male 17.5 [+ or -] 1.03 years; female 16.3 [+ or -] 1.26 years; general 16.71 [+ or -] 1.35 years) with the equations 220-age, 208-07 x age (Tanaka et al. 2001) e 223-1.44xage (Nikolaids, 2014). To statistical analyses was used ANOVA for repeated measures, Friedman's test was used to compare maximal heart rate obtained and predicted, the level of significance adopted was p |
