Phase Transformation Kinetics of Austenite during a Combination of Laser-Hybrid and Multi-Arc Welding of High Pressure Pipes

— This study investigated the phase transformation kinetics of austenite in the heat-affected zone of the joints welded by laser-hybrid and submerged multi-arc welding. Optimum cooling rates to form favorable structural-phase composition in the heat-affected zone were found.
