Summary: | Specific aspects of the use of radiation-synthesized tetrafluoroethylene telomers for creation of new fluoropolymer composite materials and protective coatings suitable for operation under the extreme climatic conditions of the Arctic were considered. The emphasis was placed on the use of the telomers for hydrophobization of highly porous heat-shielding and heat-insulating materials based on TKV (thin quartz fiber) and TZMK-10 quartz fibers and on glass fibers. |
