Based on this problem, the purpose of the present investigation is to determine the effectiveness of educational sessions as a preventive measure on fasciolosis/cysticercosis/hydatidosis in families from the town of Yamos, district of Huacrachuco, Peru, during the year 2021. Results were collected of the 122 interviewee's knowledge on these diseases, both before and after they passed the educational sessions. The results were processed with the support of the t-Student test for paired samples for determining if there was a significant improvement in the level of knowledge. Additionally, we compared the level of knowledge with other factors, like genre and educational level.
