Summary: | This work aims to map, in international journals published in the Scopus base, the scientific production on Public Budget, in the area of Accounting Sciences, management and business. With regard to the methodological procedures adopted, a bibliometric research was carried out using the international Scopus database with the term "public budgeting" limiting the period from 2011 to 2021, with the final research sample having 94 publications to be analyzed. The research findings demonstrate that the analyzed articles address various topics, including considerations on budgetary emergency measures, the main lessons and future challenges, as well as budgetary responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, research also addressed the theme of participatory budgeting. The research agendas suggested by the researchers recommend current and significant themes such as the perceptions and interests that influence budgetary control, as well as the way that debates dramatize public budgets, in the academic approach, the study appears as a guide for new research. In terms of social impact, this research emphasizes attention to the needs of citizens, to facilitate the budget planning phases and to improve the delivery of public services. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo mapear en las publicaciones periodicas internacionales publicadas en la base de datos Scopus, la produccion cientifica sobre Presupuesto Publico, en el area de Ciencias Contables, gestion y negocios. En cuanto a los procedimientos metodologicos adoptados, se realizo una encuesta bibliometrica utilizando la base de datos internacional Scopus con el termino "presupuesto publico" limitando el periodo de 2011 a 2021, siendo la muestra final de la encuesta 94 publicaciones a analizar. Los resultados de la investigacion demuestran que los articulos analizados abordan varios temas, entre ellos, consideraciones sobre medidas de emergencia presupuestaria, lecciones clave y desafios futuros, asi como respuestas presupuestarias a la pandemia de COVID-19, las encuestas tambien abordaron el tema de la presupuestacion participativa. Las agendas de investigacion sugeridas por los investigadores recomiendan temas actuales y significativos como percepciones e intereses que influyen en el control presupuestario, asi como, en la forma en que los debates dramatizan los presupuestos publicos, en el enfoque academico, el estudio emerge como guia para nuevas inv |
