Summary:Several criteria have been established by Capes to parameterize the quality of postgraduate programs in Brazil, including the alignment of intellectual production with the program's strategic planning and the PDI of the educational institution. This article presents an even broader alignment model: the alignment of intellectual production with the strategic planning of the institutions researched. This innovation has been applied in the Professional Postgraduate Program in Public Management (PPGGP) of the Federal University of Espirito Santo (Ufes) since 2018. However, the absence of procedures to support the students and researchers of the program in the process of verification of strategic alignment was verified. The overall objective of the research, therefore, was to describe a procedure to support the verification of strategic alignment of the course completion work (TCC) of a graduate program in public management, with the assistance of the BSC Tool and based on the analysis of the strategic maps of the institutions researched by the 2020 PPGGP graduates from Ufes. The results showed that the productions have a strategic alignment with the public institutions studied, being possible their identification. As a future work, it is proposed to apply the methodology for mapping and evaluating the strategic alignment of the intellectual production of other postgraduate programs. Diversos criterios tem sido estabelecidos pela Capes para parametrizar a qualidade dos programas de pos-graduacao no Brasil, dentre os quais o alinhamento da producao intelectual com o Planejamento estrategico do programa, e o PDI da instituicao de ensino. O presente artigo apresenta um modelo de alinhamento ainda mais amplo: o alinhamento da producao intelectual com o planejamento estrategico das instituicoes pesquisadas. Esta inovacao tem sido aplicada no Programa de Pos-Graduacao Profissional em Gestao Publica (PPGGP) da Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo (Ufes) desde 2018. Entretanto, constatou-se a ausencia de procedimentos que apoiassem os discentes e pesquisadores do programa no processo de verificacao de alinhamento estrategico.
