Evaluation of the index performance of sus nos municipios do RN com vistas a definicao de estrategias de gestao

This study aims to evaluate the cities's IDSUS in the State of Rio Grande do Norte, with the second best result in the Northeast and 12th place in the national ranking. Thus, the objective was to statistically evaluate the profile of this index in the state of RN, targeting the design of management strategies. As a methodological approach, we used descriptive statistics, as well as a comparative study between the variables covering the period 2008-2011. With the results presented, it appears that the management of health care resources directly influences the outcome of IDSUS, where planning and rational allocation of these resources can promote quality health scenario. Este estudo objetiva avaliar o IDSUS nos municipios do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, com o segundo melhor resultado na regiao Nordeste e [12.sup.a] colocagao no ranking nacional. Assim, objetivou-se avaliar, estatisticamente, o perfil deste indice no estado do RN, visando o delineamento de estrategias de gestao. Como recurso metodologico, utilizou-se a estatistica descritiva, alem de um estudo comparativo entre as variaveis abrangendo o periodo de 2008 a 2011. Com os resultados apresentados, infere-se que uma gestao dos recursos destinados a saude interfere diretamente no resultado do IDSUS, onde o planejamento e a destinagao racional destes recursos podem promover um cenario de qualidade na saude.
