Description
Summary:Absorptive capacity understood as the appropriation of external knowledge to optimize firm innovation results when the internal determinants are favorable, has gained worldwide attention during the last decade. The aim of this quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, co-relational-causal research is to evaluate the existing relationship between relational capital -one of the firm's determinants- and the realized absorptive capacity of external knowledge in its transformation and exploitation dimensions. This research concludes that there is a positive and significant relationship between relational capital and realized absorptive capacity.
