Summary: | * (analytical): In this article we present the results obtained in terms of the category citizen participation of the young people in everyday life in the framework of the research Senses of Citizen Participation Present in the Political Practices of Young People in Urban and Rural Contexts. The objectives of the research were aimed at recognizing the senses of citizen participation through the narratives of young people about their political practices, as well as at unveiling the conceptions on politics that guide such senses and to research its differences and similarities in young people from urban and rural contexts.The research had a hermeneutical understanding focus and it took as reference the method of hermeneutical reconstruction, using social cartography and focal groups as tools.The mainfindings of the category presented in the article revolve around three axes:The first refers to the various territories for participation in everyday life, the second one covers the local conscience of the young people, and the third one has to do with their capacity for transforming action.The scope of the findings locates the forms of making and being in the world that the young people come upwith in their own territories, in the usual places of coexistence, reflections that depart from urban university and rural communalcontexts. |
