Summary: | Vesicouterine fistula is a rare urogynecological fistula, usually iatrogenic following lower uterine segment cesarean section. The clinical features of cyclical hematuria, amenorrhea, and urinary continence, Youssef's syndrome, were first reported in the literature in 1957, among patients with vesicouterine fistula. The case reported was a 36-year-old multipara who had two previous lower segment cesarean sections and presented with amenorrhea and menouria. Hysterosalpingography confirmed the diagnosis. The fistula was repaired following the transabdominal surgery. She regained normal vaginal menses. |
