Summary:This paper contains a conceptual approach to the mental architecture oftheproductions of the designer Alberto Corazon (Madrid, 1942), National Design Prize in Spain in 1989. It is remarkable the social commitment and values in the work ofthis plastic artist, becoming a reference in the world of design and corporate identity. The methodology applied has been content analysis and performativity. As a principal conclusion, the artist's ability to keep intact his creative talent, adapted from social compromise to the demands of a Spanish society in transformation. En este trabajo se realiza una aproximacion conceptual a la arquitectura mental de las producciones del disenador Alberto Corazon (Madrid, 1942), Premio Nacional de Diseno en Espana en 1989, identificando asi el compromiso y los valores, en los que pervive el artista plastico para convertirse en una referencia en el mundo del diseno y de la identidad corporativa. Se trata de un trabajo basado en el analisis de contenido y la performatividad, en el que destaca, finalmente, la capacidad del artista para mantener intacto su talento creador, adaptado desde el compromiso social a las demandas de una sociedad espanola en profunda transformacion.
