This paper aims to present the soil granulometric profile of the Caio Martins Foundation (FUCAM), a state area located on the edge of the Sao Francisco River, in the municipality also called Sao Francisco, in the North of Minas Gerais. For this, soil samples were collected in the year 2016 and through the use of sieves of the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics of UFOP, it was possible to recognize the granulometric profile of each of the six samplings performed that represented the entire study area researched. As a result, it was possible to affirm that all the samples presented a silt texture, highlighting the fact that as the antropic action per collection site was detected, larger fractions of gravel were detected, consequently, the increase of the silica profile by region as the soil is more conserved from human action, it is possible to affirm that the most degraded, on the granulometric optics is exactly the East sector, where most of the impacting activities of the place are located and where they are the largest part of the Foundation's actions. Obviously more studies, especially the geochemistry, are important to be carried out in order to assert which species are most suitable for cultivation, but from a soil sizing point, all the tree plants originating in the Cerrado are indicated for planting in the area of FUCAM. Este estudo busca apresentar o perfil granulometrico do solo da Fundacao Caio Martins (FUCAM), area estadual localizada a beira do rio Sao Francisco, no municipio tambem denominado Sao Francisco, no Norte de Minas Gerais. Para isso coletou-se amostras de solo no ano de 2016 e atraves do uso de peneiras proprias do laboratorio de Laboratorio de Mecanica dos Solos da UFOP, foi possivel reconhecer o perfil granulometrico de cada uma das seis amostragens realizadas que representavam toda a area de estudo pesquisada. Como resultado foi possivel afirmar que todas as amostras apresentaram textura siltosa, destacando-se o fato de que a medida que a acao antropica por local de coleta era detectada, maiores fracoes de pedregulho eram detectadas, por consequencia, o aumento do perfil siltico por regiao amostral se da a medida que o solo se apresenta mais conservado da acao humana, sendo possivel afirmar que o mais degradado, sobre a otica granulometrica e exatamente o setor Leste, onde se localizam a maior parte das atividades impactantes do loc
