Summary:Kayit disi istihdam, istihdama katilan kisilerin çalismalarinin karsiliginda alacaklari ücretin eksik olmasi ve/veya çalistiklari gün sayisinin gereken kamu kurumlarina hiç bildirilmemesi veya eksik bildirilmesi seklinde tanimlanabilir. Bu çalismanin amaci, bireylerin demografik, sosyo-ekonomik belirleyicilerin ve çalisma durumunun kayit disi istihdam üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç dogrultusunda çalismada Türkiye Istatistik Kurumu'nun 2018 yilinda yapmis oldugu Türkiye Hanehalki Isgücü Anketi mikro verileri kullanilmistir. Kayitli çalisip çalismama durumu bagimli degisken olarak ele alinarak ikili probit model kurulmustur. Kurulan bu modele cinsiyet, yas, egitim durumu, medeni durum, hanehalki büyüklügü, hanehalki sorumlusuna yakinlik, çalisma sekli, isyeri durumu ve çalisan sayisi olmak üzere dokuz bagimsiz degisken dahil edilmistir. Modele dahil edilen tüm bagimsiz degiskenlerin istatistiksel olarak anlamli oldugu ve genel modelin de anlamli oldugu görülmüstür. Anahtar Kelimeler: Hanehalki Isgücü Anketi, Probit Model, TÜIK, Marjinal Etkiler Jel Siniflandirma Kodlari: E26, C25, D12 Informal employment can be defined as the wages of the persons participating in the employment are underpaid for their work and/or the number of days worked is not reported at all or is under-reported to the required public institutions. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of demographic, socio-economic determinants and working status of individuals on informal employment. For this purpose, the 2018 Household Labor Force Survey microdata conducted by the Turkish Statistical Institute was used in the study. A binary probit model was established by considering the formal-informal employment status as dependent variables. In this model, there were nine independent variables including gender, age, education level, marital status, household size, proximity, working type, workplace status, and the number of employees. It was determined that all the independent variables included in the model were statistically significant and the general model was also significant.
