Innovation Laboratory project

This article aims to list the results obtained by the Innovation Laboratory project at the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU). The Innovation Laboratory is a project promoted by the Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies (PROPP/UFU) through the Entrepreneurial Activities Incubation Center of the Federal University of Uberlandia (CIAEM/UFU), in partnership with the Research Directorate from UFU (DIRPE/UFU), with financial support from the Minas Gerais State Research Support Foundation (Fapemig). It aims to promote entrepreneurial education and encourage innovation among primary and secondary school students, through research and experiential practices. To this end, the methodology adopted was, of a qualitative nature, through documentary research and participant research on data referring to five classes of the project in the years 2022 to 2024. The results presented may point out paths and/or new choices and/ or approaches to partnerships between universities and basic education schools. Mainly, with regard to the results obtained with regard to the low student dropout rate and the potential to transform students' attitudes towards their studies, their teaching-learning relationship, as well as new perspectives on employability in the future, reflecting on improving their own living conditions and transforming their community and/or society in general. Este artigo tem como objetivo elencar os resultados obtidos pelo projeto Laboratorio de Inovacao na Universidade Federal de Uberlandia (UFU). O Laboratorio de Inovacao e um projeto promovido pela Pro-Reitoria de Pesquisa e Pos-Graduacao (PROPP/UFU) por meio do Centro de Incubacao de Atividades Empreendedoras da Universidade Federal de Uberlandia (CIAEM/UFU), em parceria com a Diretoria de Pesquisa da UFU (DIRPE/UFU), com o apoio financeiro da Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais (Fapemig). Ele tem por objetivo fomentar a educacao empreendedora e incentivar a inovacao entre alunos do ensino fundamental e ensino medio, por meio da pesquisa e praticas vivenciais. Para tal fim, a metodologia adotada foi, de natureza qualitativa, por meio de uma pesquisa documental e pesquisa participante nos dados referentes a cinco turmas do projeto nos anos de 2022 ate 2024.
