Subwavelength patterns and high detection efficiency in fluorescence correlation spectroscopy using photonic structures

We present theoretical and experimental evidence of subwavelength resolution and high detection efficiency in fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) using photonic structures. Description
Summary:We present theoretical and experimental evidence of subwavelength resolution and high detection efficiency in fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) using photonic structures. We show that multilayered dielectric mirrors or metallic mirrors may be used in a conventional FCS setup to improve fluorescence detection and fluctuation analysis.
