Description
Summary:Hierarchically nanostructured materials that combine two or more levels of structuring can exhibit a combination of useful features. We have generated surface‐bound nanofilaments by nanomolding on nanoporous template surfaces. The filaments also carry molecularly imprinted binding sites that selectively recognize the drug propranolol. The wetting properties of the surface are altered by nanostructuration. We believe that these materials can be useful for applications such as biosensors and biochips.
