Unusual sinus arrhythmia

Abstract A juxtaposition of long and short RR intervals was observed in 2 hypertensive patients recovering from major surgery under spontaneous ventilation. Sinus rhythm was ascertained throughout the recording. These oscillations could not be linked one-to-one to ventilatory cycles.
