A low consumption electronic system developed for a 10km long all-optical extension dedicated to sea floor observatories using power-over-fiber technology and SPI protocol

A 10km long extension using power-over-fiber technology and dedicated to sea floor observatories is presented with a particular focus on the electrical both ends units. We propose a solution using a SPI 3 wires protocol for large range of low power sensors like hydrophones.
