Description
Summary:The heat capacity of the thermoelectric ZnSb compound is measured by DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) using the small temperature steps method in the [300–673 K] range. The sample is prepared by direct melting and compacted by Spark Plasma Sintering. The results match with previous data relative to similar polycrystalline samples. The Neumann-Kopp rule is obeyed considering the experimental margin of error. As for pure Zn and Sb, a significant departure from the Dulong-Petit limit is observed.
