Summary: | A special representation of the secular part of the perturbing function for the mutual attraction of planets (satellites) is proposed. In contrast to the well-known expansions, it uses its asymptotics at close semimajor axes of the orbits of the perturbed and perturbing bodies and has a unified analytical form for the external and internal variants of the problem. The derived expression is a partial sum of the power series in small eccentricities and sines of the mutual orbital inclinations. |
