Summary: | In this paper we propose a novel homogenization technique for computing the quasi-static effective parameters of a three-dimensional (3D) lossless lattice of dielectric particles with complex shape. This technique offers the possibility to evaluate, in an accurate manner, the behavior of the electromagnetic field within the microstructure when the wavelength of the electromagnetic field is larger than the period of microstructure. This method is based on the decomposition of the field in an average part without micro-oscillations, and a remainder taking them into account. |
