Evidence for Two Intervals of Enhanced (10)Be Deposition in Antarctic Ice during the Last Glacial Period

Concentrated cores of cosmic ray produced 10Be in deep ice cores from Dome C and Vostok Antarctica were studied. In both of these cores, the concentration of 10Be found in ice from the late glacial period was almost two times larger than that found in ice of the Holocene period. Detailed concentrati...

Description
Summary:Concentrated cores of cosmic ray produced 10Be in deep ice cores from Dome C and Vostok Antarctica were studied. In both of these cores, the concentration of 10Be found in ice from the late glacial period was almost two times larger than that found in ice of the Holocene period. Detailed concentration profiles are discussed.
