Summary: | The role of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on university students’ academic success is recently a very popular topic in management literature. An individual’s pro-social behavior affects an organization’s productivity. But unfortunately institutions that give tourism education do not give enough importance to OCB. In this research, theoretical structure of OCB is analyzed and it is found out that there is an important relation between Akdeniz University, School of Tourism and Hotel Management’s students’ academic success and demographic aspects. Different advices are given to tourism education managers and the future researches on the basis of the results of the research. |
