Summary: | In this paper, a manifold separation technique and polarimetric element space-based direction-of-arrival and polarization estimation algorithm for monostatic polarimetric MIMO radar is proposed. Polynomial root finding technique is involved in the proposed method and thus the proposed method is computational efficient. To ensure the Vandermonde structure of the Fourier basis, transformation matrix is defined in this paper. The transmitter and receiver are uni-polarized antennas of arbitrary configurations and diversely polarized antennas of arbitrary configurations, respectively. Cramer Rao bound is also derived to compare with the performance of the proposed method. Simulation results are conducted to verify the performance of the proposed method. |
