Summary:IoT devices gradually found and paved its way into the production and automobile mover's industries, spawning what is today known as "industrial IoT or IIoT." The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology enables Industry 4.0 and the shift to higher productivity. The notion has begun to tackle technical problems in critical areas, assisting organizations in improving procedures and reducing costs. WhileIIoT offers numerous advantages, it also has several security concerns. As the distinction between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) becomes increasingly blurred, this article examines the advantages and disadvantages of employing IIoT for cyber security.
