Description
Summary:Many individual people use cloud storage mainly to protect their critical data, to share great videos and pictures with other cloud users. The duplicate copies of data increase the storage capacity requirement by unnecessarily occupying the storage space. Data Deduplication is a technique for eliminating redundant duplicates of information from storage. There are few techniques available in the literature, there aren't many methods for dealing with deduplication, and those that are largely at the file level. In the existing techniques, a slight modification in the file made a significant impact on the shifting of sampling bit positions. The proposed AEPAS algorithm samples the data blocks both from the beginning and end of the files. Additionally, a query strategy was described in this paper to reduce the processing time required to find similarities. The various metrics such as Query time, CPU and Memory Utilization, etc., are employed to assess the effectiveness of the suggested algorithm. The effectiveness of the suggested algorithm AEPAS outperforms the other algorithms. Consequently, AEPAS can be implemented to the cloud computing to decrease the latency and attain both effectiveness and accurateness.
