Description
Summary:This paper discusses an approach to creating a digital infrastructure for operating modes controlling of power electronics devices using the SCADA system in distribution networks. This kind of digital infrastructure gives possibility to improve key parameters of electrical energy quality through active-adaptive control of electrical converters in a power transmission line. An analysis of electromagnetic processes of active-adaptive control devices of power line operating modes is given; this device is a reactive power compensator (RPC) based on an AC voltage regulator (ACVR). An interaction algorithm for the SCADA system digital infrastructure and power electronics devices providing active-adaptive control of the electrical network operating modes is described. Software has been developed for monitoring and controlling electrical network operating modes by power electronics devices with the implemented SCADA system digital infrastructure; also an analysis of its impact on the distribution network has been made when changing the connected loads. Various functions of the digital infrastructure designed to control operating modes of the distribution network are considered.
