Summary:Quality has been one of the most important factors in the development of any product since the very beginning of the manufacturing industry. Industry 4.0 affected all aspects of the industry, including quality, which resulted in the creation of Quality 4.0. One of the most used technologies for achieving Quality 4.0 is artificial intelligence (AI), which enables more efficient and accurate inspection of products. To facilitate research and teaching in this area, a modular testing system based on computer vision and edge computing was developed. The system is developed according to the currently most frequent use cases, and enables faster and more efficient development, deployment, and testing of AI algorithms.
