Description
Summary:The purpose of this paper is to present a new queueing model for Bluetooth multipoint connection systems. Such a model will handle an ad-hoc topology such that there is a way to ensure that higher priority tasks are given "right of way" than lower priority tasks. Bluetooth communicates on the 2.4 GHz ISM band, and can be used in fixed and/or portable devices. A queueing model is needed to study the behaviors of a Bluetooth ad-hoc network to ensure that there is efficient and correct data transmittance to the correct recipient. The outcome of this paper reflects how a queueing model helps us to understand the performance in terms of efficiency and correctness in data transfers in a Bluetooth ad-hoc environment.
