MPEG-4 video streaming over unstable broadband network environment

MPEG-4 visual coding has been playing a more and more important role in image applications for cellular telephones and PDA. This paper illustrates a peer-to-peer system with a variable bitrate control mechanism that can well adapt to the fast-changing characteristics of a wireless network.
