Description
Summary:Home automation has become an integral part of our daily lives and has evolved since our inception to bring feasibility and compatibility to our homes and workplaces. The basic foundation of home automation is the ability to control lights, fans, kitchen utensils, etc., automatically. Google Home, Amazon Echo, and Apple Home Kit are the most widely used home automation systems. This document will build a voice-enabled home automation project that is both efficient and cost-effective. Using WI-FI and IOT, it can be remotely controlled and monitored using an Android device. We use sustainable energy to power microcontrollers to minimize costs and build environmentally friendly projects. Ordinary home appliances are used to implement the system. The Google Assistant receives natural language voice commands, which are converted and sent to the microcontroller via the IFTTT (If This Then That) and Blynk applications. The microcontroller then controls the relays that are connected as needed and turns the devices connected to each relay on or off in response to a request from the user to Google Assistant. For connection between the microcontroller and the application (Internet), a Node-MCU (ESP8266), including a Wi-Fi module, is used. Using sustainable energy in this project restores the energy supply, eliminates carbon dioxide emissions and maximizes energy efficiency.
