Description
Summary:In this paper, the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) modeling procedure of the grid-tied three-phase T-type voltage source inverter (T-type VSI) for wireless power transfer battery charging stations is described. The main aim is to develop a HIL simulation model and control algorithm for rapid prototyping with PLECS circuit simulator. The function of the HIL simulation system in the testing of the control algorithm and power electronics was highlighted in this paper. The system's hardware architecture, software tool, and necessary modifications are described, along with the implementation of on-line simulation in form of HIL testing in real time. Furthermore, the simulation results of the proposed converter are evaluated. As a result, this paper presents an overview of the HIL simulation model design of semiconductor power converters and an overview of rapid prototyping for the control algorithm.
