Summary: | Wind power prediction(WPP) is particularly important when facing a shortage of global energy considering that wind energy is common and clean energy. However, the intermittent and random fluctuations of wind power lead to poor stability of power generation. To reduce the impact of wind power on power network operation and the cost of power systems, this paper proposes a Long Short-term Memory(LSTM) algorithm based on Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD) to predict wind power, which has been tried in wind farms in Shanghai, effectively improving the prediction accuracy of wind farms for long timestamps. |
