Summary: | Numerous researches are devoted to development of computationally efficient detection algorithms for Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signals. In this paper, the detection algorithm with decision feedback and optimal analysis interval was studied in relation to Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signals with QAM and PSK. A simulation model was developed to estimate the optimal analysis interval and the energy gains provided due to its application. Based on the obtained results, we can conclude that greater gains are achieved in case of PSK. This confirms the hypothesis that the considered detection algorithm works more efficiently under conditions of stronger intersymbol interference. |
