Description
Summary:Summary form only given. Space charge waves (SCW) may be generated in a material with large mobility-lifetime product in the presence of electric field. When excited with the light fringes the SCW may give rise to such exciting phenomena like spatial subharmonics generation and/or resonant photorefractive wave coupling. The SCW can be excited under homogeneous illumination, too., In present work we propose and implement a new to our knowledge technique of resonant enhancement of photorefraction, which is based on parametric interaction of light induced grating with self-excited SCW. To achieve SCW self-excitation the CdTe sample is illuminated by low-coherent radiation of 980 nm laser.
