description In the present study, a new method of organizing the load condition monitoring based on the use of information and measurement technologies is considered. When calculating the forces, information about digital measurements of instantaneous values of currents, voltages, speed and temperature is involved. The analysis of the existing methods of obtaining information for processing and analyzing data is carried out. The result of the analysis is necessary for reliable monitoring and monitoring of the load condition. A digital twin of the electric motor has been created to calculate the torque. An energy approach lies in the concept of the digital twin. The algorithms for calculating the torque are based on the control of energy transformations in the electric drive. To adapt the digital twin to real processes, a set of constants is used, tied to the design features of the electric motor. A comparison of the experimental and the results obtained from the data of the digital twin is carried out. The simulation results confirmed the coincidence of the calculated and passport characteristics with the required (1...3) % accuracy for condition monitoring.
