Description
Summary:Modern short-range devices in the process of operation are affected by noise from various radio-electronic systems and similar devices. For correct operation of short-range devices it is necessary to calculate the probabilities of occurrence of in-channel and intermodulation noise from various sources, as well as to calculate the protective distance between operating devices. The probability of in-channel noise is determined not only by the number of interfering sources, but also by the duration of their duty cycle. It is shown that an increase in the signal-to-noise ratio and protective distance leads to a decrease in the probability of blocking of short-range devices. When taking into account the characteristics of the antenna directional pattern of interfering radio-electronic devices, the protective distance can be reduced by several times. It is shown that an increase in the density of placement of both interfering radio-electronic devices and short-range devices leads to an increase in the total intermodulation noise. The probability of total intermodulation noise is determined by the power and duty cycle of the sources of noise and by the power and duty cycle of short-range devices exposed to this noise. The obtained results can be used to optimize spatial placement of short-range devices.
