Description
Summary:In view of the transient voltage problem caused by the fault occurred in the sending end AC system. This paper analyzes the interaction of reactive power between AC and DC systems, and the dominant factors affecting transient voltage was identified. Considering the fault severity, the expression of transient voltage of converter bus is established in this paper. Based on this, the expression of DC current command value is derived, and the DC control optimization strategy is proposed to support the transient voltage. Finally, a test model is built based on the CIGRE HVDC benchmark model in the PSCAD/EMTDC, and the validity of the proposed strategy is verified by simulation results.
