Noise Filtering of Narrowband Temporal Optical Waveforms by All-Fiber Talbot Processing
We demonstrate an all-fiber Talbot-based approach for noise mitigation in narrowband optical signals, achieving over 8 dB improvement in optical signal-to-noise ratio for multiple MHz-bandwidth temporal waveforms immersed in narrowband noise, notably improving the quality of the detected signal.
