Summary:This article aimed at investigating the role of artificial intelligence in education from the perspectives of students enrolled in Professional Diploma Programs in the UAE. In the investigation, the descriptive method was employed. (231) male and female student-teachers from Al Ain University participated in the study during the first semester of 2022/2023. To evaluate the function of AI in education from the perspective of students in Professional Diploma Programs in the UAE, a questionnaire was designed as a research method. The acquired data was analyzed using SPSS software. According to the findings, instructor students were found to believe that AI plays an essential role in developing the Professional Diploma Program. Furthermore, the results demonstrated statistically significant variations in the student-teachers' perceptions of the AI function in education based on the teaching language. The variations were in favor of English language instruction at a significance level of = 0.05. The study suggested integrating AI apps into the educational field, and providing teacher-students training on how to use them.
