Assessing The Current Imbalance of Current Multiplier Rectifiers Stage in Isolated dc-dc Converters

This paper analyzes dc current sharing in isolated dc-dc converters employing current-doubler and current-tripler rectifiers. Unbalanced currents are likely to occur due to asymmetry associated with transformers, filter inductors, semiconductors, and effective duty ratios of active switches. Experim...

Description
Summary:This paper analyzes dc current sharing in isolated dc-dc converters employing current-doubler and current-tripler rectifiers. Unbalanced currents are likely to occur due to asymmetry associated with transformers, filter inductors, semiconductors, and effective duty ratios of active switches. Experimental results are presented to validate the theoretical analysis using a 6 kW prototype, obtaining an error of approximately 2.5%.
