Summary: | This paper presents a novel bidirectional X-band antenna design with symmetrical logarithmic arms and PIN-controlled conical sections. Each arm has a PIN diode and the antenna is fed centrally by a coaxial probe.by controlling the PIN diodes, the antenna can switch the beams in two directions: 0 and 180 degrees. Experimental results show a maximum directivity of 7.16 dB at 0 degrees, demonstrating the effectiveness of the antenna. The design is promising for beam switching systems at 11.5 GHz. |
