Summary:The salt purification tool in this research functions to remove impurities contained in wholesale salt such as calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and sulfate (S04). The raw material for wholesale salt was obtained from the Ronggolawe Makmur Tuban Cooperative which contains impurities of Ca 0.781%, Mg 0.793%, SO4 0.011%, and NaCl 89.27. In addition, this salt purification tool implements a level-based volume control system to regulate the ratio of sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), barium chloride (BaCl2), saturated water (brine), and wholesale salt entering the mixing tank. The test results for the volume control system obtained a value of Ts = 10.83 s, Mp = 1 cm, Ess = 0.3%, and Tp = 35.5 s, while the temperature control system obtained a test parameter value of Ts = 20.33 s, Mp = 1.67 0C, and Ess = 1.72%
